CAM N°50

Met Devoti, a sculptor from Carrara born in 1981, blends academic training, international experience, and a refined artistic sensibility. After graduating with top marks from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara and pursuing a parallel path as a musician, he moved to Japan in 2011, bringing with him the tradition of Carrara marble. In Kagoshima he became a sculpture assistant and developed a distinctive artistic language that earned him prestigious recognition, including the National Cultural Award “Lizza d’Oro.” His works—exhibited in Italy and abroad—stand out for their formal rigor, purity of volumes, and their natural ability to interact with space, transforming each environment into a unique artistic experience.
